Director of Learning Experience Design for Enterprise Technology (Arizona State University)

Dr. Megan Workmon Larsen is a creative educator, researcher, and technologist who leads Learning Experience Design at Arizona State University’s Enterprise Technology. Her current work explores how digital literacy, artificial intelligence, and creativity can transform learning into inclusive, human-centered experiences. Megan’s projects span from experimental learning spaces in the EXCL Lab to the use of AI and XR tools for creative practice, always focusing on the messy, iterative process of learning and making. She is particularly drawn to the study of failure and resilience, uncovering how they fuel innovation and spark growth.

With a background that includes a Bachelor of Music from The Boston Conservatory, a Master of Education from USC, and a Doctorate of Education and Innovation from ASU, Megan weaves together the arts, education, and technology. Whether building bold new ideas or belting out a karaoke tune, she believes in the transformative power of curiosity, collaboration, and creative risk-taking.
