She also teaches graphic design classes and is the coordinator for the school’s core classes on Adobe tools - responsible for aligning the curriculum to developing needs and trends, as well as recruiting and training qualified adjuncts. In addition to her teaching role, she runs the online training site jschooltech.org, hosts workshops, leads weekly small group sessions with students, and visits classes to train students.

Heather’s career in digital creativity began in college (at the JSchool, in fact). She took the love she had for digital storytelling and art and turned it into a career immersed in creative storytelling. She believes that everyone can be a creator and that maximizing digital tools to communicate ideas and personal narratives drives change.
