Eileen serves as a Specialist Leader in Government and Public Service – State, Local and Higher Education. At Deloitte she has advised State and Local Government Clients in Health and Human Services on addressing the many people and process challenges facing their agencies and organizations.
Within the Higher Education Practice, she has served as the Advisor to the Future of Work Institute. She is a trusted advisor to University Leader Clients having worked with clients on organization assessment and change management, operations, shared services, risk management, student success and student mental health needs. Her trust as an advisor to HIED leaders comes from her over two decades of experience serving both public and private institutions of higher education. As both a chief of staff to a president and as a vice president for student affairs (serving religiously affiliated, Hispanic-serving, comprehensive, liberal arts and system institutions), she has worked across divisions to enhance organizational effectiveness, and improve academic, equity and wellness outcomes for students, faculty, staff and external stakeholders.
Her C-suite level experience includes leading a diverse portfolio of service and auxiliary departments, and specialization in strategic planning, organizational re-design, industry research and assessment, crisis management, COVID response, Title IX, academic/student affairs integration, student mental health and basic needs initiatives, strategic communication, change management, student life cycle planning, and retention/completion improvements.
Education and Teaching – Eileen holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Bowling Green State University (OH), and masters and bachelor’s degrees from Eastern Illinois University, where her parents spent the bulk of their academic careers as faculty members. She has served as an adjunct professor in Higher Education graduate programs at North Central College and Benedictine University and has partnered with faculty to teach in general education curriculums at two private colleges.
