Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Innovation at the Duke University Center for Teaching and Learning and Associate Professor of the Practice at the Social Science Research Institute, Duke University.
As a learner-centered educator, community-engaged researcher, and systems-oriented academic leader, Aria has focused her work for over two decades on educational innovation, open access to learning, technology and society, and transformative learning for collective flourishing.
In her current role, she examines artificial intelligence not only for its potential to reimagine teaching and learning, but as an opportunity to reconsider what learning is for and what humane educational futures we are willing to build.
