Matthew Rust, MS, JD, serves as Associate Vice President for Academic and Career Success at Indiana University, where he provides strategic leadership on enhancing academic, career, and graduation pathways for students across IU's nine campuses. His portfolio includes Academic Advising, Career Services, and Student Success Coaching.
In his previous role as Assistant Dean of University College at IU Indianapolis, Rust partnered with faculty and academic units to design, implement, and assess initiatives focused on student achievement and retention.
Rust also currently serves on the Governing Board for the Institute for Workforce Excellence at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors for EmployIndy, the workforce development initiative of the City of Indianapolis.
