Dr. Siobahn Day Grady

Siobahn Day Grady, PhD, serves as Associate Professor in the School of Library and Information Sciences at North Carolina Central University and Founding Director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Research, the first dedicated AI institute of its kind established at an HBCU. She provides strategic leadership across artificial intelligence, digital education, and workforce readiness.

Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and algorithmic bias, with applied work in misinformation, autonomous systems, and healthcare technologies. Grady also serves as Faculty Fellow Lead Partner for e-Learning Excellence at NCCU and is a nationally recognized advocate for equitable access, STEM education, and emerging technology.
