Director of the Center for Innovative and Transformative Instruction and an Adobe Thought Leader, CIT Winston-Salem State University

At WSSU, Dr. Wanda White - Walker's department directs faculty development, teaching and learning, online course design and delivery, and digital literacy special projects. Dr. White-Walker specializes in innovative ways of instruction for student success at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCU) and minority serving institutions (MSI). Her recent research has focused on ways to increase digital access for students and inclusive teaching practices that boost faculty instructional innovation resulting in higher student engagement.

In her spare time, she enjoys working with community theater productions and spending time with her two grandchildren.
